Day 1 Otavi Mountains 420km
Depart Windhoek and travel to the Otavi,
where your historical guest farm is situated.
The rest of the day is spent at leisure.

Day 2, 3 Bushmanland 320km
After breakfast you travel via Grootfontein
and the Hoba Meteorite to Tsumkwe, situated
in the heart of Bushmanland. This 18500km²
large woodland savanna is the ancestral home
of about 2000 Ju’/hoan San, and counts as
Namibia’s most untouched wilderness areas,
giving the visitor an acute sense of tranquil
isolation. On the following day you can travel
through Bushmanland in your vehicle to visit
a selection of natural attractions including a
gigantic Baobab tree, the Nyae Nyae pans or
experience the Bushman culture by visiting an
authentic Bushman village.
Tsumkwe Lodge (B, D)
Day 4 Okavango Delta 210km
After breakfast you travel further east to the
border of Botswana. Having checked through
customs, travel on gravel road through
western Botswana, which also forms a part
of the traditional bushman territory and where
you may come across different game species.
Your destination for today is the Okavango
Delta, the largest inland delta on earth and one
of the most celebrated game sanctuaries in
Africa. Your lodge is situated along the largest
lagoon of the delta, and offers you a wide
variety of activities. Explore the waterways of
the delta in dugout canoes or travel over the
water in motorized boats on a game viewing
and birding excursion
Nguma Island Lodge (B, D)
Day 5,6 Mahangu Game Park 170km
After a scrumptious breakfast, travel north into
the Kavango area of Namibia. Having passed
through the Namibian passport control, you
are situated in the Mahangu Game Park. This
wildlife area belongs to Namibia’s smallest,
yet most diverse game parks and offers you
exceptional gaming and birding opportunities.
Your lodge for the coming two nights is hidden
within the forests lining the banks of the
Kavango River and borders directly onto the
Mahangu Game park. Exploring the area on
a motorized boat will bring you closer to the
rich wildlife of the Kavango such as hippo’s,
crocodiles as well as a range of plains game.
Divava Okavango Lodge (B, D)
Day 7,8 Bwabwatwa Game Park 220km
Travelling further east you enter the
Bwabwatwa Game Park, another of Namibia’s
wilderness areas that is bordered only by
natural river systems and therefore preserves
game species their ageless migration routes.
Your lodge is situated along the reed-lined
Kwando River. An abundance of wildlife lives
here, including Lion, Roan, Sable, Elephant
and Buffalo as well as over 450 different bird
species. Explore this water rich area by boat
or on game drive, alternatively you can visit a
traditional village situated close to your lodge
to learn more about the culture and traditions
of the caprivi inhabitants.
Namushasha Lodge (B)
Day 9 Chobe National Park 245km
Traveling along the Caprivi Strip, you enter
Katima Mulilo, situated along the Zambezi
River that forms a natural boundary to Zambia.
Driving along stretches of towering Baobab
Trees, travel via the Chobe National Park to
Kasane, where the tour ends. Return your
rental vehicle at the depot in Kasane, continue
with your journey further into Botswana or
travel to Zambia or Zimbabwe. Alternatively,
continue your journey via the Okavango Delta
back to Windhoek.(B)
