The awesome and constantly contrasting landscapes are best viewed from the ground, and a self-drive itinerary offers you the flexibility of enjoying these at your own pace. The vibrant colours, sounds and smells as well as the captivating and thrilling sights combined with Namibia’s warm hospitality will leave you wanting to return time and again.

Please note that Namibia and neighboring countries have left-hand side traffic. Approximate travel times have been indicated on the suggested itineraries, these are from point A to point B and do not include stop-off touring time. Any itinerary contained within Sense of Africa brochure can be tailored as a self-drive program, and shortened or lengthened to suit your individual interests and requirements.
Camping Tours:
Fully equipped 4x4 single (2 passengers) or double (2 – 4 passengers) cabin vehicle or a station wagon on request. Includes roof-tent /s, fridge, sleeping bags, pillows, kitchen equipment, gas cylinder, table, chairs. All camping areas have shared communal ablution facilities.
Bronze Class Tours:
Simple but solid essentials tour, accommodation is offered at 3-star properties on a bed and breakfast basis.
Silver Class Tours:
Above average comfortable accommodation, facilities and services with excellent value for money.
Gold Class Tours:
High quality accommodation, facilities and services. Suggested optional extras are included into the itinerary that fulfill this experience we call Namibia. Tours are based on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast basis.
Platinum Class Tours:
Premium quality accommodation, facilities and services. As good as it gets in Namibia. Superior attention to detail to ensure every wish is met. Tours are fully inclusive of all meals.
