Child Policy:
Children under 6 years of age sharing with 2 adults are free of charge.
Children aged 6 – 12 sharing with 2 adults are at 50% of the sharing adult rate.
13 years and over will be considered an adult if utilizing their own tent. |
Accommodation:
Camp Sites
7 No. Kwalape has seven private camp site with a shared ablution facility. The camp sites differ in size and can take from 4 tents up to 8 tents on the largest one.
Kwalape Safari Tents
12 No. Kwalape offers a budget accommodation option in the Safari Tents section. These are equipped with twin beds, bed side stand, lamp, fan and two outside chairs. Ablution facilities are shared with the camping area. The tents are in a natural garden setting, which provides for privacy and more comfort.
Kwalape Chalets
12 No. Kwalape offers a more comfortable and luxury option with the Chalet Accommodation. The Chalets are situated in a natural garden setting and with private verandas overlooking this it creates a bush feeling. All chalets are en-suite and have Air Conditioning, TV and a coffee station.
Kwalape Deluxe Rooms
12 No. This is part of Kwalape phase two and will be ready for occupation from August 2012. The standard rooms are all en-suite, air conditioned and comes with options of twin and double rooms.
Phase 2 of Kwalape’s accommodation consist of three blocks of rooms located between the bar, swimming pool and the conference centre with views over the gardens. Each block consists of four standard rooms (two east facing & two west facing) on the ground floor and two executive suites (East facing) on the first floor.
Kwalape Superior Suites
6 No. This is part of Kwalape phase two and will be ready for occupation from August 2012. The executive suites are all en-suite, air conditioned and comes with options of twin and double rooms.
The rooms have private verandas overlooking the garden and pool area and comes with a lounge area in each room.
Bar & Pool
The Bar and Pool area are for use of all guest at Kwalape. The Bar is equipped with a TV for special events and sports and also serves as an arena for cultural activities and performances. The Boma area at the bar are used for special themed evenings or for guests to relax by the fire. The spacious pool at Kwalape provides enjoyment for all guests.
Restaurant & Sunset Bar
Kwalape’s restaurant offers a full service menu and buffet options. The restaurant is located in a natural garden environment with views off the garden ponds. The restaurant can accommodate up to 200 guests.
The Sunset Bar is situated on a deck above a section of the restaurant and provides an area for guests to relax and revive themselves after a long day game viewing or conferencing. The deck offers views over the gardens with beautiful sunsets in the late afternoon.
Conference Facility
The conference facility at Kwalape offers comfortable and spacious facilities with seating for up to 200 delegates. Kwalape provides luxury leather chairs and conference tables and equipment for up to 100 delegates. Seating arrangements for up to 100 delegates can be done according to the client’s needs. For groups of up to 200 delegates seating can be done as fitting and in a cinema style arrangement.
Activity Centre
The activity centre at Kwalape offers activities in the region and transfers to all the major hubs including Kasane Airport, Livingstone and Vic Falls.
