The Mowana Safari Resort and Spa is named after a Boabab Tree and it is built around an 800 year old Boabab. The lodge features an expansive wooden deck that streches around this Boabab offers views of the mighty tree as well as the Chobe River. This Chobe Lodge is situated near the Chobe Game Reserve, where 4 african countries meet and 2 of the most popular rivers converge.
Mowana Safari Lodge not only offers some of the best views of these famous rivers, it also offers some of the best elephant and game viewing around. The Chobe Game Reserve is famous for its elephant population of 45 000 amongst various other wildlife such as lion, leopard, giraffe, cheetah and buffalo.
